Local Climate
The local climate dry season has attracted many foreigners who enjoy the dry tropical forest and beautiful scenery. The dry season starts around November 30th and ends around May 1st with virtually no rain, and low humidity. Average year around temperatures are in 75-85 degrees range, occasionally reach 95 degrees, nights cool down to about 70 degrees. Generally sleeping at night is very comfortable without air conditioning.
During the rainy season the sun usually shines every day with occasional rain showers in the late afternoon. Many year round residents prefer the cooler greener wet season.
